Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

• Sign-up information: name and email address, when you join our mailing list or register for a photo walk.

• Contact form information: name, email address, and the content of any message you send us.

• Cookies and similar technologies: information collected via cookies, including analytics cookies, but only after you have given consent through our cookie banner. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies at any time.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data (e.g. health, religion, political views) through this website.

3. Why we process your data, and our legal basis

• To manage sign-ups and communicate about upcoming photo walks — based on your consent (you sign up voluntarily) or to take steps at your request before an event.

• To respond to messages sent through our contact form — based on your consent and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.

• To understand how visitors use our site (analytics) — based on your consent, given via our cookie banner.

You can withdraw consent at any time (see Section 6), which does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

4. Who we share your data with

We use the following third-party services to run this website and community, who may process your data on our behalf or in their own capacity as data controllers:

• Wix.com — our website hosting platform, including Wix Forms (contact form), Wix Events (walk sign-ups/RSVPs), and Wix Email Marketing (newsletters).

• Google — for Google Forms (where used for sign-ups), Google Analytics (site usage statistics), and our Google Business Profile listing.

• Microsoft (Bing) — for website analytics/webmaster tools.

These providers may process data outside the EU/EEA (for example, in the United States). Where this happens, they generally rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent approved safeguard to protect your data. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

5. How long we keep your data

We keep sign-up and contact form data only for as long as needed to organize walks, communicate with you, and maintain our mailing list — typically until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until it is no longer relevant (e.g. after periods of inactivity). Analytics data is retained according to the relevant provider's default retention settings.

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you

• Correct inaccurate data

• Request deletion of your data

• Restrict or object to certain processing

• Request a copy of your data in a portable format
